I have to agree with Persona on this one. At first, McGee was convinced that the Hulk was a "killer". (Final Round- "Get back, he's a killer!") etc. Later on, after a few encounters with the Hulk where he (McGee) was not only not harmed, he was rescued or helped, McGee must have realized that the Hulk wasn't a wanton killer, but, as Persona has said, was still very aware of the Hulk's strength and rage.

I would also say, McGee had a healthy respect for the Hulk, but didn't really fear him as time went on. IMO however, Del Frye's creature didn't really cause McGee to fear the Hulk any more than before, or after. After all, he was witness to the Hulk being protected by Elizabeth, and offering no threat to her, him or the Sheriff once Frye's creature was killed.
