It's been a while since I've brought this one back, but I've taken a brief break from my Disney viewing to check out a couple of DC films.First,Batman: Under the Red Hood.I've been meaning to check this one out for some time.I was never a big fan of the Death in the Family storyline,(which this film is a sequel too.)so I really went in having no expectations whatsoever. And let me tell you, this film blew me away!Start to finish,it's wall to wall awesome!

The film has some of the best action scenes in animation and they just keep coming one after another! The voice cast was terrific.Bruce Greenwood as Batman & Neil Patrick Harris as Nightwing.(the only one I wasn't too keen on was the guy playing The Joker, but he at least had the laugh down pat.)I make no bones about the fact that I'm pretty squeamish about violence, and this film is pretty violent, but never too excessive,IMO. There was some very poignant scenes, too.I won't give anything away, but check it out,if you haven't yet.

Also,I've seen Superman vs The Elite. This wasn't quite as impressive as Red Hood, but it has a pretty good story.A new group of "heroes" arrive, led by Manchester Black, promising to do what the man of steel won't-dispense lethal justice!Black is a pretty good character, but the other members of the Elite didn't strike me as very impressive. The ending is cool where they show just how far will they go,before Superman breaks his moral code.

Also check out Young Justice & Green Lantern while you can. Both have been canceled, with the final episodes airing this month.smiley: frown
