I'm waaaay behind in giving my reviews for the new season's toons.Well,I'm about to remedy that.Right now!

First,ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN is still going strong. The series has made some improvements in storytelling.A recent episode gave a much needed spotlight to the Guardians of the Galaxy.A team that will soon star in it's own film next year.Other guest stars have popped up including a certain green-skinned laddie, which I believe might be familiar to some of you.smiley: wink In fact,in that episode the Hulk switches brains with web-head.A fun bit has Spidey say (while in Hulk's body) the classic "Don't make me angry..." line.smiley: happy

Next up AVENGERS ASSEMBLE Also starring Hulk!I like what I've been seeing so far.The team is pretty much identical to the film, with the exception of Falcon as a new recruit. While not exactly set in the film's continuity, certain line were reused, such as Thor's "Fought bigger!" and Hulk's "I'm always angry!".The overall arc has The Red Skull (who looks awesome) trying to recruit an evil "cabal" to match forces with Earths Mightiest Heroes. The animation is pretty strong. There is a noticeable absence of Banner, however.

And finally BEWARE THE BATMAN.I have to admit,my expectations were lower than zero for this show. But in all honesty.....it's pretty good! The animation is the same 3D style as the late Green Lantern series. The series is set in the early days of the Dark Knight's career, where Gordon is still a Lieutenant and Alfred is a (somewhat) younger, tougher ex-agent. The gimmick is having virtual D list villains in the show instead of the usual heavy hitters. The most recent episode included Magpie (whom I actually remember from the comics!).Bruce is also dodging his new "bodyguard" (who eventually becomes Katana).

Oh, Rochester!!!!!
