Hey everyone,
I'm happy to announce that I have "passed the torch" of Hulk fandom on to a new generation. My nephews, who are 8 and 10 years old, recently watched Death In the Family and I think they really enjoyed it (I couldn't really watch it with them as it was family get-together and I was busy running around ). I wasn't sure what they thought after they saw the Pilot. They liked it but they didn't seem to inquire about the other episodes - until about a month ago. They asked if I brought any new Hulk DVDs. I was pleased to hear it! As I was loading the DVD, one of them asked if I could play the "first one - I really liked that one". I had to laugh because in the second Hulk out, they asked, "um...is he going to kill the girl?"
I love hearing a child's reaction to a Hulk episode!
Anyway, just curious if any of you have recently witnessed the "planted seed" of Hulk fandom in the younger generation?
I should add, btw, my nephews watch the Transformers movies, Harry Potter, etc. High end CGI FX / Michael Bay type pyrotechnics cannot dull a young child's mind from appreciating TIH tv series. What does that tell ya...!
