Rather than start a new thread for every animated series out there,I figured I'd create a broad topic that covers the entire category.
First,Iron Man Armored Adventures has recently begun it's 2nd season on Nicktoons.I thought I'd like this show much less due to the approach taken, where Tony,Pepper & Rhody are teenagers. But to my surprise it's become my favorite animated series. It really showcases the Iron Man villains.
Also the Iron Man "Manga" version is on G4.It deals with the adult Tony Stark taking his business to Japan and facing villains called the Zodiac. It's much more in line with the Iron Man movies, but has very few of his known villains/supporting cast.
G4 also has Wolverine Manga which follows the story of Logan in Japan trying to free his girlfriend from an arranged marriage. This one started very slow, but in recent episodes Logan has come against Omega Red.This one is not for kids as there is lots of blood/violence and some words you don't hear on Sunday.
I've also been checking out some old episodes of MTV's short lived Spider-Man animated series.I didn't care much for it before, and 9 years haven't really changed my opinion. The story is supposedly set between the first and second Spider-man movies, but it plays out with scripts that feel like Smallville rejects, with characters acting all "Hip 'n Trendy".Most of the villains are radically changed in look and backstory. One interesting thing was having Michael Clarke Duncan reprising his role as The Kingpin from the Daredevil movie.Neil Patrick Harris (post Doogie, pre Barney) does pretty good as the voice of Peter Parker/Spidey.
